About this shoot

This is a "Try It" event but for experienced archers who want to try the different disciplines they would shoot if they attended the 55+ BC Games hosted by Naniamo in September. There will be an opportunity to try shooting a partial 900 Round which is 90 arrows shot at Outdoor 10 Ring Targets (80cm for Compound and 122cm for recurve and Longbows) at three different distances. IE: 30 arrows each at 55m, 45m, 35m, for sighted and 45m, 35m, 25m unsighted), a partial Field Round which is three arrows shot at twelve 6 Ring Black and Yellow Field targets of various sizes (80cm,60cm,. 40 cm 20cm) at various marked distances (5m-40m unsighted and 10m-55m sighted), and a 3D Round 1 arrow shot at 20 life sized foam animal targets at various unmarked distances (0-30m unsighted and 0-50m sighted). If you are thinking of going to the 55+ BC Games but have never shot one or more of these disciplines, here is your chance before registration closes on 15 June 2025)
